Hey all,

I'm newish to this forum and I've been doing some poking about and reading up on Winter wetsuits, I'm fairly small, about 5'7 and 9 stone, would this suit a beginner like me? I get cold quite easily and I really don't want to have to put off surfing til the summer...

Don't know much about Gul suits, but if your on a budget this suit appears according to the description to be suitable. You'll need to make sure it fits properly (always best to try suits on prior to purchase to get the best fit) and you'll need a hood/twat cap, gloves and boots (I'd recommend at least 5mm of both, I use 7mm boots and gloves for winter).
However if your serious about surfing and want to get in regularly and for as long as possible, in my humble opinion you can't really skimp on a winter wettie. You need to spend some cash to get a good one, I prefer attached hoods for extra warmth and none of that flushing down the neck. Also need to spend money on good accessories, boots and gloves.
All depends on how serious/obsessive you are, and what your budget is.

Thanks harvey,

I'd never have thought of Gloves, Boots and a hood.

You can get all in one weeties? Where the boots and hood are attached?

All-in-one wetsuit might not be such a good idea given the hygiene habits of some people...

Thanks for all that guys haha

I've gone and bitten the bullet, ordered a Wetsuit and I'm looking forward to it getting to my front door.
